The Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) employs 465 people to operate and maintain Pittsburgh International and the Allegheny County airports.
The ACAA does not recruit for airlines, tenants, concessionaires or contractors at airport facilities. For example, security checkpoint workers and airline reservation representatives are not hired through the Authority.

| OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR TRAINEE |
Airfield Operations |
Under the direct supervision of the Duty Manager, trains to be able to independently supervise the staff and activities of the Consolidated Control Center, and of the airfield operational area as required; ensures that the conditions and safety of the airport is maintained in compliance with local operational standards and regulations established by the Federal Government. Upgrade to Supervisor is determined by evaluation and monitored progress. A six-month minimum time period from the date of entry as a trainee is required (after 6-month performance review) before any upgrade is considered. Failure to qualify for upgrade after 12 months will be cause for termination. |
