Competition Plan

Copies of all documents constituting the Allegheny County Airport Authority's Competition Plan for Pittsburgh International Airport are available from the Authority administrative offices at the Airport upon request. The Authority may charge a nominal fee for copies of documents.

The work to be done under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, tools and all associated work for the following projects as shown on the contract drawings.

Project No. 56G1-09       (General) Short-Term Parking Garage Repairs

The work generally includes but is not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Remove existing Level 3 asphalt membrane. Scarify approximately ½” of existing concrete surface. Install concrete overlay and waterproofing membrane.
  • Repair Level 2 waterproofing membrane and recoat.
  • Perform partial depth and full depth deck slab repairs as required.
  • Perform concrete repairs as required.
  • Repair or replace double tee beam shear connectors as required.
  • Perform structural repairs as required, including removal of existing fiber wrap for double tee beam repairs and installation of new strengthening system.
  • Install new floor drains and downspouting.
  • Tie new downspouts into existing drainage facilities.
  • Install new sidewalk, handrails, and bollards on Level 3.
  • Install signage and pavement markings.
