To Downtown Pittsburgh
Exit Airport onto RT 60 South, head toward Pittsburgh (16 miles). Follow RT 279 through Fort Pitt Tunnels into downtown Pittsburgh.

To the North
To travel Northbound on I-79 : (for example, to Erie, New York, etc.) 
Exit Airport onto RT 60 South, head toward Pittsburgh. Exit at 1B-Crafton, follow Steubenville Pike, RT 60 to I-79 North.
 
To the South
To travel Southbound on I-79 : (for example, to West Virginia and Washington D.C.) 
Exit Airport onto RT 60 South, head toward Pittsburgh. Go to Exit 2, Washington I-79 South. (Approximately 10 miles from airport exit). 

To the West
To travel Westbound on I-80 : (for example, to Youngstown, OH and I-80) 
Exit Airport onto RT 60 North toward Beaver Falls, (Beaver Valley Expressway). Connect with I-76 West, I-680 to Youngstown and onto I-80 (or bypass Youngstown continue on I-76 to I-80 toward Cleveland). 

To the East
To travel Eastbound on I-376 : (for example to Monroeville, PA Turnpike from Philadelpia, etc.) 
Exit Airport onto RT 60 South, head toward Pittsburgh (16 miles). Follow RT 279 through the Fort Pitt Tunnels, follow signs for RT 376 toward Monroeville (Approximately 11 miles from Downtown). Follow signs to the PA Turnpike, I-76.
