Aeroterm to build Pittsburgh International Airport’s largest cargo facility to date

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh International Airport is set to get its largest cargo facility ever following the approval of a lease agreement on Friday.

The board of the Allegheny County Airport Authority, which manages PIT, approved an authorization request to enter into a ground lease agreement with Aeroterm Inc., a leading owner and provider of capital, expertise and facility-related services to airports in North America. Aeroterm intends to construct a 140,000-square-foot cargo facility on up to 8.77 acres of land along Wright Brothers Drive. Upon its completion, the facility will become the airport’s largest cargo building on its property.
