MEDIA ADVISORY: Pittsburgh International Airport to Announce Two Nonstop Destinations

What: Join Pittsburgh International Airport, Allegiant Air officials and community leaders as they announce two more nonstop destinations to leisure markets. The announcement will bring the number of airports served nonstop from PIT to 73, nearly doubling the destinations served over the past three years. The announcement will increase Allegiant’s nonstop offerings to 11 markets. Allegiant continues to base two aircraft at PIT, employing more than 50 people.

When: Tuesday, Jan. 9, 10:30 a.m.

Where: Pittsburgh International Airport, Landside Terminal, Ticketing Level (Near Allegiant Ticket Counter)

Who: Interview opportunities include Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald, Pittsburgh International Airport CEO Christina Cassotis and airline officials.
