Our partner, the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh’s new webpage, Museum at Home, offers do it yourself and at-home maker activities for children of all ages. Kid makers, please work with a parent or caregiver on every project and always be very careful when using tools of any kind. Share what you’re making at home on our social media channels!

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! They all can be found at the zoo, every day. But when you can’t get in to see the animals in person, you can visit them online! Watch the cheetahs and the penguins on the zoo’s webcams.
While it’s hard to compete with the rope course at the Carnegie Science Center, you can also have a lot of fun discovering science from home. From planetarium videos and free webinars to at-home science experiments and crafts, the museum offers a variety of educational resources.
In addition to the Science Center, there are three other Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh – Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and The Andy Warhol Museum. Watch videos about dinosaurs, visit the art museum’s collection, try at-home activities from the NatureLab and more!
