Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival - Guest Artist, Byron Nash 

The August Wilson African American Cultural Center partners with Pittsburgh International Airport to launch the carefully crafted "JAZZPORT" series, which highlights a handful of Pittsburgh's most promising artists. This series was designed to reiterate the city's rich music history as we approach the 14^th annual Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival taking place September 19^th-22^nd in the heart of downtown Pittsburgh at 980 Liberty Avenue.

Byron Nash is known for his blazing rock and soul guitar style. But for the jazz festival performance, he is tapping into his experimental side, tapping into his jazz-inspired influences, mixed with deep, emotional singer songwriter foundations. He will be building sonic textures with his loop pedal sounding more like a full band than just a solo performer.
