In 1979\, he founded ISKA\, his first professional jazz quartet\, which has become his most recognized ensemble. ISKA features some of the region’s most innovative musicians. \nAs a music and arts experimenter\, Lee has collaborated with poets\, actors\, and visual artists on various projects. Through his art Caleb wants experiencers to be guided through a journey that will surprise them and put them in a state of inquisition. He wants his audiences to ask questions; asking questions is the first step in the pursuit of knowledge (one of life’s most important pursuits). \nCaleb studied at the Oberlin and New England Conservatories of Music\, as well as the Kennedy Center’s Betty Carter Jazz Ahead and the Banff Centre’s International Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music. \nMost recently\, Caleb premiered an original piece\, commissioned by Sugar Hill Salon\, for woodwind trio at Lucille’s Harlem. Caleb has performed at the Metropolitan Museum of Art for their Flight into Egypt: Black Artists and Ancient Egypt\, 1876–Now exhibit\, premiering Zekkereya El-magharbel’s commission piece\, Landscapes of the Northeast. Caleb has also performed with Lauryn Hill\, Terrence Blanchard\, Lonnie Holley\, John Clayton\, and as a freelancer across the Midwest and in New York City. In 2022 Caleb embarked on a month-long tour through Europe (Italy\, Germany\, and the Netherlands) with Cleveland based group Mourning [A] BLKstar. (signed to Atlantic Records in the 80’s). They traveled the world and had Billboard topping hits. After the group disbanded\, she did a bit more traveling\, and ended up being referred to Emage Talent Agency\, right here in downtown Pittsburgh. \nWith her rising solo career performing mostly Rock and R&B\, she has recently launched an amazing Tina Turner Tribute Show (T3) with her band the 445s. She does all the hits and favorites. She has performed at the Hard Rock Cafe/Pittsburgh\, City Winery/Pittsburgh\, The LeMont Restaurant and many other venues. Her performance for the Airport will be scaled down to her and a piano player (a Duo)\, performing some beautiful R&B\, Jazz and Soft Rock Hits\, mostly from the 80’s and 90’s\, soothing enjoyable tunes with a little touch of energy.

Mr. Bickel has performed with such diverse artists as Mel Torme\, Rodney Dangerfield\, Michel LeGrande\, Gladys Knight and the Pips\, Liberace\, The Skyliners (featured on their hit record\, “Since I Fell For You”)\, Billy Eckstine\, Glenn Miller Orchestra (Ray McKinley)\, Little Anthony and the Imperials\, Mickey Rooney\, Jimmy Dorsey Band\, The Flamingos\, The Modernairs and Bobby Vinton.
