FAQs

If I fly out before the new terminal opens and return afterwards, how will I get back to my car?
There are no walkways connecting the new terminal with the legacy parking lots, so you will not be able to get back to your parking space on foot. Instead, you will need to take the parking shuttle. It picks up by Door 5 outside of Baggage Claim on the Arrivals level of the new terminal building. Ride it to the shuttle stop that is closest to your parking space.

If you parked in…

Long Term: Stop #1 Champions, #3 Bridges or #4 Robotics
Economy Lot: Stop #2 Steel, #4 Robotics or #5 The Burgh
Extended Lot: Stop #5 The Burgh
Short Term Garage & PIT Executive: Stop #3 Bridges, then take the moving walkway back to the garage

For additional details and information, ask the staff at the Information Desk near the Martini Bar and Vino Volo.

Through the end of November, we will have representatives (wearing purple high-visibility vests) who will be stationed in the terminal and parking lots to help passengers find their way.

How will I find my way into/out of the new parking garage and lots when they open?
Brand new signage has been installed throughout the campus to help passengers find where they need to go.
Can I reserve a space with EV charging?
No, spaces with EV charging cannot be reserved. Passengers parked in those spaces are free to keep their vehicle plugged in for the duration of their travel.
What payment methods can be used to pay for parking and where am I able to use them?
  • Credit/Debit Cards and Apple Pay/contactless payment: Accepted everywhere payments are made – automated unstaffed gate terminals, pay stations and Credit Card lanes at the exit plazas
  • Cash: Only at the ‘Cashier’ lanes at the exit plazas
  • Checks: PIT does not accept checks
