Enhancing the Airport Experience, Enriching Our Community

The mission of the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) Charitable Foundation is to enhance the experience of travelers at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and Allegheny County Airport (AGC) and to work with the communities located closest to our airports to better the lives of their residents. Within this mission, our focus is:

Engaging with communities around the airports to help in areas of education, such as post-secondary aviation scholarships.

Any other charitable purpose responding to needs as they arise.

Foundation Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of the ACAA Charitable Foundation, Executive Committee of the ACAA Charitable Foundation, or a representative of the ACAA Charitable Foundation Board, initially reviews each grant request to ensure the organization meets the minimum criteria. Thereafter, the full ACAA Charitable Foundation Board of Directors will evaluate the requests from organizations and vote on final approval of all grant applications.

Grant Selection Criteria

In order to apply for grants from the ACAA Charitable Foundation, an organization must:

Provide services that focus on enhancing the experience of travelers at PIT and AGC, or

Engage with communities to help in areas of education, such as post-secondary aviation.

Grant Applications

The ACAA Charitable Foundation will not be accepting Grant Applications in 2025. Applications will resume in 2026.

Aviation Scholarship

The Charitable Foundation has partnered with The Pittsburgh Foundation to establish a scholarship for local high school students interested in aviation.
