Arts & Culture
The Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) believes that art adds value, meaning and connectivity to our lives and that it is a vital component to enriching public spaces. The ACAA Art in the Airport program aims to elevate the visitor and team member experience through diverse art installations and engaging performances throughout the Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) and Allegheny County Airport (AGC) campuses.
We are dedicated to showcasing dynamic art and performance produced by local, regional, national and international artists in all media.
How to Apply
The ACAA Art in the Airport program accepts proposals from artists, performers, curators and cultural institutions on a rolling basis. Proposals may include visual and performing art of all media. All proposals for artwork displays, performances or other events at PIT or AGC are reviewed by the manager of Arts & Culture and the airports’ Art Advisory Team. The Art in the Airport program’s mission is: To manage an art program of style, diversity and beauty to be enjoyed by our traveling public and employees that also promotes public art and enhances the airport environment.
The Art in the Airport program is generously supported by contributions from The Heinz Endowments and the Richard King Mellon Foundation.
