MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Reducing the Stigma and Encouraging Conversation

In July 2022, Allegheny County Airport Authority debuted its Mental Health Awareness Campaign in partnership with Staunton Farm Foundation. The campaign consists of nine digital boards throughout the landside and airside terminals that feature graphics and video submitted by community partners. The content addresses and offers resources for a range of topics related to mental health, including but not limited to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and suicide. The goal of the campaign is to reduce the stigma around mental health by offering support and encouraging conversation around this very important issue.

If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health or experiencing emotional distress, please call or text 9-8-8 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. The Lifeline is toll-free and provides confidential support 24/7.
