Piaggio Fast Forward has expanded its current line of small, personal use follow robots and developed kilo, a follow robot in the form factor of a cart. kilo allows users to easily move items from point A to point B, hands-free. kilo uses computer sensor vision, allowing it to follow users both indoors and outdoors, and to see, understand, and react to its surroundings.

During their Proof of Concept at PIT, kilo worked with the IT Help Desk and Events departments – who often need to move large quantities of items from one area of the airport campus to another – to test the capabilities of the follow robot in both landside and airside terminals.
