Blueberry Technology has developed BBGo, an autonomous mobility vehicle (wheelchair) designed to give passengers the freedom to independently navigate and explore the airport. The vehicle utilizes AI and preloaded virtual maps of the airport to enable passengers to navigate autonomously. After scanning their boarding pass, passengers can direct the vehicle to take them to specific destinations, such as a restroom or restaurant, before taking them to their gate.

During Blueberry’s Proof of Concept at PIT, they partnered with Frontier Airlines to offer passengers autonomous rides throughout the airside terminal in exchange for feedback on the vehicle’s performance, ease of use, etc.
