Jim Spencer is the President and CEO of Exus Renewables North America (Exus). Prior to his tenure at Exus, Jim spent 35 years in the power industry managing the development and financing of energy projects in both developed and underdeveloped countries. He was the Founder, President and CEO of Ever Power Wind Holdings, a national utility scale development and operating wind company, for 16 years.

Jim began his career as an attorney in the energy project finance group at Chadbourne & Parke LLP. He moved to Prudential Capital Corporation to work in the Utilities & Finance Group. He then spent more than a decade at Sithe Energies, Inc., including four years as President of Sithe Asia Holdings Limited; he was responsible for the business development and project finance activities throughout the Asia Pacific Region.

Jim is a Pittsburgh native and received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Jim is the Chair of the Advisory Board at The Andy Warhol Museum, and is also on the boards of the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Promise and The Allegheny County Airport Authority.
