The Joys of a Slippy Slope

Kevin Mack, 2024

The Joys of a Slippy Slope is an ode to the lush park system in and around Pittsburgh. The piece showcases Pittsburgh’s past in the steel industry and its ability to evolve and progress. The composition is inspired by McConnells Mill and the Slippery Rock Gorge, offering waterfalls, luscious greenery and massive glacial boulders. Kevin Mack highlights the features of nature while creating a welcoming space.
