Amy Melissen—performing as Amy Mmhmm—is an Eastern Pennsylvania-born, Pittsburgh-based singer-songwriter, music educator, and general encourager. Since planting roots in Pittsburgh in 2007, Amy has woven herself into the local music community by crafting songs that reflect on life’s shared triumphs, losses, and the healing power of melody. Driven by the belief that singing is for everyone, she splits her time between intimate live performances and teaching, always aiming to uplift and inspire. Her deeply resonant storytelling took center stage with the March 2026 release of her collaborative album with Lee Stivers, titled Something Tells me Everything Will Be Alright.
