Carlos Peña has been a performing instrumentalist in the Pittsburgh area for over 25 years, primarily on guitar, in jazz, Latin, r&b, hip-hop, rock, etc., and is currently featured as half of Geña y Peña performing boleros and música cortavenas. Instead of trying to fit into a category, Carlos embraces his uniqueness and versatility, reveres tradition while looking forward, and takes a holistic approach to making music.
