Spirit Airlines announced that it is ceasing operations nationwide as part of its bankruptcy proceedings. Spirit customers should visit Spirit.com for more information. Spirit has advised that all of its flights are cancelled and passengers should not come to the airport.

Spirit was serving three markets from PIT, all of which are served by other carriers nonstop:

• Orlando (Southwest, Frontier, Allegiant – Orlando-Sanford)
• Ft. Lauderdale (Southwest, JetBlue)
• Myrtle Beach (Allegiant, Breeze starting July 3)
