MEDIA ADVISORY: Pittsburgh International Airport to Bid Farewell to Chinese Tourists


What:
 Join officials from Pittsburgh International Airport as they say goodbye to more than 300 Chinese tourists who flew in a week ago to tour the city. The departure will feature Iceburgh, dancers, music and refreshments as well as a water canon salute. Media will have the opportunity to interview passengers.
 
When: Media should arrive today between 1:45 and 2:30 p.m. at the Landside ticketing counter across from Allegiant to receive a pass to go to the Airside Terminal.
 
Where: Pittsburgh International Airport, Airside Terminal. Media should pick up passes on the Landside ticketing level across from the Allegiant counter in order to go Airside.
  
Parking: Media may park in the courier lot next to the terminal. Unmarked vehicles should put a placard on their dash indicating their media outlet. Follow the signs for commercial vehicles to Commercial Arrivals. The taxicab holding lot is on the left. Take the first right following the flashing crosswalk at the holding lot. This road is marked with a sign “Emergency Access Road.” Take the first left into the Courier Lot. It is marked with a sign “Authorized Vehicles Only.”
