PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL TO HOST INDUSTRY DAY EVENT AND SMALL BUSINESS FAIR MARCH 13 AT HYATT REGENCY

PITTSBURGH – A combined Industry Day event and Small Business Fair is scheduled for March 13, at Pittsburgh International Airport in the Hyatt Regency hotel. The event will provide an opportunity for local firms, small businesses and disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs) to learn about upcoming procurement opportunities related to the Terminal Modernization Program (TMP).

In addition to offering information on the TMP, the Industry Day event is open to local consultants, construction companies and vendors interested in doing business with the Allegheny County Airport Authority at Pittsburgh International and Allegheny County Airports, and provides an opportunity for local firms to meet other firms interested in the TMP and explore potential partnering opportunities.

Staff from the Airport Authority’s various departments including Business Development, Public Safety, Airport Facilities & Infrastructure Marketing & Communications, Finance, Engineering, Planning & Capital Development and Procurement will be on hand to answer questions. Self-guided tours of the Airside Terminal also will be available.

Those interested in participating in an Airside tour must pre-register for Industry Day and provide a valid Photo ID (Driver's License or Passport) on the day of the event.
