Soy Sos
Herman "Soy Sos" Pearl will re-contextualize Brian Eno's 1978 release "Ambient 1 Music For Airports" through use of sampling, granular synthesis, time based effects, microphones and hardware controllers. Herman is a veteran sound artist, producer, DJ and audio engineer of over 40 years and brings his experience and a sense of discovery to every project he approaches.

In 2021 the PIT Art in the Airport program featured Herman “Soy Sos” Pearl performing an ambient set in celebration of Brian Eno’s seminal work “Music for Airports”. In March 2025, travelers and staff at PIT will again experience ambient music by Pittsburgh based musicians/creators inspired by Brian Eno’s work, “Music for Airports”, from March 17^th – March 31^st.
